Author Biography

Thomas L. Friedman is a three-time recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for his work with The New York Times, where he has been an opinion columnist since 1995. He is the author of From Beirut to Jerusalem (winner of the National Book Award); The Lexus and the Olive Tree; Longitudes and Attitudes; The World Is Flat; Hot, Flat, and Crowded; That Used to Be Us (written with Michael Mandelbaum); and Thank You for Being Late.
